Kathryn Adduci

Kathryn Adduci is a versatile trumpet player who has performed in many countries throughout the world. She has appeared with numerous professional groups in her native country of Australia, as well as performing with orchestras in Malaysia, Canada, and the United States. Kathryn is also highly-regarded for her work with historical instruments and performs with numerous period instrument groups in North America, including the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, American Bach Soloists, and the Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra. The featured soloist on the CD Forte e Dolce with the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado, she can also be heard on over 20 recordings on other labels. A graduate of the University of Western Australia (BMus), University of Georgia (MMus), and the University of North Texas (DMA), Kathryn was Professor of Trumpet and Brass Area Coordinator at San José State University for 12 years and has held additional teaching positions at Tennessee Tech University, Tennessee State University, the University of Idaho, and the University of Western Australia. She currently calls Cookeville, Tennessee home.
