About the Festival
Our yearly summer Festival, directed by Elizabeth Blumenstock since 2011, aims to present the astounding wealth and diversity of the Baroque era through a season of five concerts performed by the finest musicians in the historically informed Baroque field.
We are proud to be a community festival and welcome you to our community. We offer the chance to socialize with our musicians, and each other, over “wine and waters” following each of our concerts, and also take pride in our lovely and varied venues, which include the beautiful Sherman Gardens in the heart of Corona del Mar.
We are always looking to expand and develop our organization. We welcome interest from potential board members and volunteers. Please contact us if you are interested in getting involved, and consider joining our mailing list to be among the first to know about future concerts.
Please visit our critical acclaim page to read highlights of our press coverage in recent years.
Our organization is volunteer-led with support from part time external consultants when needed. Click here for details of our Board of Directors and Advisory Board.
Since its inaugural season in June 1981, the Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar, has evolved as both an esteemed and popular cultural institution in Orange County, California. You can read more about the history of the Festival here, as we approach our 40th Festival, June 21-28, 2020.
