Our Performers
Singers and instrumentalists alike bring their expertise and flair to the Orange County coast in June, performing the music of the 17th and 18th centuries in historically informed interpretations. You will enjoy the talents of many local performers from the greater L.A. area and San Diego, as well as those of musicians from further afield. With the exception of the “Friday Gardens” concert, which is typically given on modern instruments, there is ample opportunity to hear and explore the wonderful Baroque instruments used by our orchestral players and soloists.
Artistic Direction
Elizabeth Blumenstock has curated and led Festival performances since 2011, when she succeeded Burton Karson, the Festival’s cofounder and now Artistic Director Emeritus.

Festival Orchestra
In June, talented Baroque specialists from up and down the west coast gather once more in Corona del Mar to form the Festival Orchestra. There is a camaraderie amongst the musicians which is often infectious in concerts.
