Michael Jones

Born into a musical family, Michael Jones is an award-winning international soloist, chamber musician and clinician. Distinguished as “the superb Michael Jones” by Gramophone (2023), he has appeared as a soloist with the  Philadelphia Orchestra, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra, Tesserae Baroque, Cal Poly Bach Festival, Choral Arts Philadelphia, Academy of Sacred Drama, Haverford University Choir and Orchestra and Disney’s All-American College Band, among others.

In addition to an extensive solo career, Michael regularly performs with many of the nation’s finest choral ensembles, including Los Angeles Master Chorale and two GRAMMY®-award-winning groups, The Crossing  and Conspirare, as well as Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Seraphic Fire, Bach Collegium San Diego, Grant Park Opera Chorus, True Concord Voices and Orchestra, Opera Philadelphia, Apollo’s Fire, Variant 6, Ekmeles, Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati and Alium Spiritum. Michael is a founding member of Constellation Men’s Ensemble, Chicago’s premiere low voices ensemble.
